Hotel Shubham Beach · Puri
On Chakratirtha Road, between the shoreline and the temple town, Hotel Shubham Beach was built for the way people actually travel to Puri — for darshan, for the sea, and for time with family.
Our Place in Puri
Puri is a town people come to for two reasons, and often both at once: the Jagannath Temple and the sea. Hotel Shubham Beach sits where those two journeys meet — about 200 metres from the shoreline, roughly two minutes on foot, and 2.5 km from the temple, a little under ten minutes by road.
That location shapes everything about how the hotel runs. Reception is staffed around the clock because pilgrim families leave for early darshan long before a normal breakfast service. Our kitchen is entirely pure-vegetarian because that is what most of our guests observe while they are here. And our rooms are sized for families travelling together rather than for solo business stays.
What We Get Right
Not 'near the beach' in the way listings usually mean it. You walk out of reception, down C.T. Road, and you are on Puri Sea Beach. Sunrise over the Bay of Bengal is worth the early alarm.
Shree Jagannath Temple is 2.5 km away. Our team helps arrange transport, including the early-morning runs, and reception never closes — so nobody is locked out after a late return.
Swaad serves Odia thalis, Indian classics and Asian dishes from 7 AM to 11 PM, with vegan options throughout. No non-vegetarian food is prepared anywhere on the property.
Three room sizes, from a 200 sq ft Deluxe to a 500 sq ft Grand Suite with its own living area and a sea-facing balcony — plus free parking with space for a tempo traveller.
Beyond the Hotel
Rooms, rates and availability are best confirmed by phone — our reception team knows the property and the town better than any booking screen does.
