The Venue
Hotel Shubham Beach sits on Chakratirtha Road, about 200 metres from the shoreline and 2.5 km from Shree Jagannath Temple. That combination is why most of our functions happen here: families come to Puri for darshan, and hold the celebration where they are already staying.
The venue is a rooftop space rather than a ballroom, and we would rather be straight about that. It suits intimate weddings, receptions, engagements, birthdays, thread ceremonies and reunions — the kind of gathering where everybody actually knows each other. For a very large wedding, we will tell you honestly if we are the wrong fit.
What We Host
Mandap setups and reception layouts on the rooftop, with the sea breeze coming in. Our team works alongside your pandit and your decorator rather than dictating to them.
In-house pure-vegetarian catering from our own kitchen — Odia thalis, North Indian, Chinese, live counters and sweet stations. No outside caterer to coordinate, and nothing non-vegetarian on the property.
Block rooms for your guests at function rates across our Deluxe, Super Deluxe and Grand Suite categories, so the family stays in one building rather than scattered across town.
Birthdays, anniversaries, thread ceremonies, small conferences and training sessions. Reception is staffed 24 hours, so setup and clearing are never a fight.
